Well last night was food sorting for the AIDS Project Los Angeles...my first appearance as Ms. California Globe 2009. And it was a great way to get started. What a wonderful activity!! They feed about 1500 low income families that have a member suffering from HIV or AIDS. And we prepared over 500 bags last night...a third of what they need for the month!! My friend Esther Torres, as well as Tim went with me. We worked hard and got a little dirty but had fun and met some wonderful people. This may turn into a reoccuring event. It was just so nice to see the work accomplished. Next event...dancing with the disabled, tomorrow night. So more to follow.
