BCR Dance

Hello Again from Ms. CA Globe 2009. Just wanted to give everyone an update on the latest activities I have been doing to promote the pageant and talk about the WIN program. In November, I attended the Burbank Center for the retarded monthly dance...themed Fall Festival. It was a wonderful time and I have never danced so much in one night. The people were wonderful and I was never without a dance partner. I also saw some of my new friends from the food drive. It seems like people that enjoy helping others, enjoy helping people all people. I hope to see them again soon.

Next, I attended the Miss California and Miss Teen California USA pageant in Palm Springs with Mrs. California Latino, the beautiful Esther Torres. We had such a fun night and actually sat near the winners dad for part of the night (He was pacing the rest of the night). The event was very well done and i got to visit with former Miss USA Shanna Moakler and the current Miss USA (From Texas...yay!!), Crystle Stewart. They were both charming and beautiful young ladies.

I have also had the opportunity to be involved in several film and commercial projects. Such a different world from anesthesia!!!! I have met stunt man and CSI actor Bryan Friday, as well as rising film star Kristopher Higgins. I have worked as makeup artist, boom operator, and had some small cameos...screaming and as a driver in the shadows. But fun, nonetheless.

Next on the agenda was helping wrap gifts for the Children of the Night organziation. People donate gifts and then wrappers simply wrapped the Christmas gifts. The group works to keep child prostitutes off the streets.

In the next weeks I will be attending several local pageants for the MAO as well as working with the food bank again. Hope all is well with everyone. Happy New Year!!
